A show I am very proud of is coming to LA. The most expensive silent film ever made, 1925’s “Ben-Hur” includes an enormous cast and crew and a visual scope that is breathtaking to this day. Stewart Copeland, former drummer for The Police, composed new music for the Hollywood epic. He plays drums and percussion as the Pacific Symphony perform the score live and perfectly in sync with the movie screening above them.
I orchestrated for Stewart and helped him sync the live orchestra to the film. It was two years of work, and it’s the coolest silent film you’ll ever watch.
